First Blog Entry (Jan. 16)
I am Hongbo Zhu, from Harbin, China. I am a second year MA-TESL student. I got my Bachelor's degree in linguistics at Arizona State University . I am interested in morphology and syntax.
I have been a children English teacher for 3 years when I was in China. I taught Chinese to native English speakers at Contemporary Chinese School of Arizona after I arrived in the US. Later, I taught ESL to adults Spanish speakers. Currently, I am teaching English 105 and 205 here at NAU.
From my teaching experiences, I used technology for most of my teaching classes, especially for English 105 and 205. I do make power points for each single class and show my students the way of searching resources through the Cline Library online system.
I want to learn more activities that can be used through technology teaching. Also, I want to know more technological tools that can be used in my future teaching career.
